V.law debit card launches for settlement payouts

V.law announced the rollout of its settlement debit card option, giving claimants a simple way to access funds after a case resolves. Early recipients have begun receiving payout updates that confirm card orders, delivery timelines, and activation steps.

How the debit card payout works

Order confirmed. Claimants who select “debit card” in the V.law app receive a confirmation that their request and mailing address were recorded. Card status is always available inside the mobile app.

Production and mailing. Cards enter production and ship to the confirmed address. Delivery typically takes 7 to 14 business days.

Activation. When the envelope arrives, recipients activate the card using the instructions included or inside the V.law app. Activation is required before use.

Access to funds. After activation, settlement funds are loaded to the card for everyday purchases or ATM withdrawals.
